Today, Rep. Cindy Axne (IA-03) released the below statement following the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson:

"Throughout her career, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson has demonstrated the utmost integrity and commitment to the rule of law. Her impressive qualifications and impeccable character will guide her critical work on the Supreme Court, and I want to congratulate her on this monumental achievement," said Rep. Axne. "With this historic and well-deserved confirmation, young Black girls across the country will be able to see themselves finally represented on the Supreme Court and know that the sky is truly the limit as to what they can achieve. I look forward to seeing Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson continue her work to protect and defend the Constitution on our nation's highest court in the years to come."
